ROTORIPPER – ROTARY SUBSOILER
NEW EIMA 2021 - EIMA 2021 TECHNICAL NOVELTY AWARD!
In collaboration with the historic company Bertoni srl. the ROTORIPPER was born.
It is an implement carried to the third point of the tractor driven by PTO that consists of a number of anchors in the end of which are bolted special noncommercial knives at a specific angle that promote their entry into the soil.
The special feature of the machine is that these anchors are not fixed as in traditional subsoilers but driven by a crank-rod system that gives the end tool such a movement that the soil is broken up much finer than in the traditional ripper.
The machine works at an adjustable depth via level wheels that can normally range from 15 cm to 40 cm. All joints are on state-of-the-art self-lubricating bearings so maintenance is extremely simple and is reduced to just checking the oil level in the housing.
Compared with all other PTO-driven implements that are hardly suitable for deep tillage in stony or particularly compact soils, our rotary subsoiler has this peculiarity.
By distributing the tractor's power between towing and handling, it requires less Hp than current systems and thus significantly reduces operating costs for the end user, reduces fuel consumption, and consequently reduces pollutant gas emissions.
