POST HOLE DIGGERS

The Post hole diggers are widely used machines in agriculture, gardening and industry for planting trees, tensioning poles and their anchors, fencing, greenhouse framing, etc. The company Selvatici began building them in the 1950s, designing and building gearboxes specifically for such use.

Selvatici has always avoided assembly with commercial gearboxes readily available on the market, but unsuitable for this type of work, which could have jeopardized the optimal utilization of the drills for powers over 40HP/29KW.

The range available is extremely wide, and Selvatici post hole diggers can be used by both garden tractors and large tractors with which soil can be drilled up to two meters/79 inc deep. Selvatici's range of augers is the most comprehensive, and you can choose from models that also allow use under greenhouses or otherwise where there are height problems or can be used sideways or for high depths. For the French market, the following are available also low vineyard models. In nearly 50 years of experience, the quality has been universally recognized so much so that many models are patented.

The acronyms give the possibility to identify the technical characteristics of the drill:for example, Series 40,100 (maximum diameter 40 cm/16 inc, maximum depth 100 cm/39 inc), Series 100,210/3 (maximum diameter 100 cm/39 inc, maximum depth 210 cm/83 inc, with lever reversal of rotation "/3") and so on.
