THE REDUCER IS GIGANTIC (KG 470 LBS 1036): the pinion and PTO shaft are supported by 3 bearings. The gearbox has 3 speeds. Its configuration allows the transmission of motion with only the gears in the socket: the others are free, thus, maximum efficiency and less wear and tear. Forced circulation and internal cooling are provided by wide ducts made from castings. This solution, found only in Selvatici 150 - 250 - 350 boxes, guarantees greater durability under any conditions. In fact, the oil flow rate per revolution is constant and determined by an internal turbine, therefore, immune to problems that can cause filters, pipes, radiators, or external pumps.
